Abstract

The topic of glory is closely related to the concept of history. Given the realism of Ciceronian thought, which aims at the validity of a permanent order, base of history and of human activity integrated into the concept of glory, we find a dogmatic ideology, such as Stoicism and Epicureanism, with a greater or lesser foundation, along with movements originated in the idealism of Greek Sophistic, which does not appreciate the concept of glory
