Abstract

Seneca's Agamemnon displays from a new perspective the major motifs of the legend with respect to its Greco-Roman literary sources. In the light of the theoretical contributions of mythocritic I will show that the analysis of some important images of the tragedy may exhibit, through its insertion in a relational environment, the poetic and symbolic constants of this Senecan text
