Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the important influence of the classical tradition on the poetry of the Argentine writer Aldo Francisco Oliva (Rosario, 1927 – Rosario, 2000), who was a notable professor of literature at the University of Rosario. We analyze especially the deep connection of his poetry with the two great poems of Lucretius and Lucan.
