La Pharsalia de Lucano: un modelo de deconstrucción épica en Contra Symmachum de Prudencio
Main Article Content
Abstract
The hypothesis of this article is that Prudentius by definitively banishing polytheism and installing Christ as the only true god, embarks on a path that is comparable –in several aspects– with the modus operandi implemented in Pharsalia. For our demonstration, we will describe the different deconstructive poetic operations carried out by Lucano, drawing particular attention to the analysis of the strategies deployed to question the divine apparatus –an essential component of the genre–, to confront them with the procedures developed in the first book of Prudentius’ Contra Symmachum.
