About the globality of the Roman empire

Abstract
In this paper, I pretend to review the petitio principii that entails the Anglo-Saxon suggestion to use the globalization concept as an alternative to romanization paradigm, i.e. to consider the Roman empire as a global empire. To that end, I will consider the specific debate in which the authors place their proposal.
